Armed Robbery at Roll and Tap Gaming
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is investigating an armed robbery which occurred in the parking lot of Roll and Tap Gaming, early this morning.
On December 21, 2022, at 00:26 a.m., officers responded to 254 Oakley Avenue, Roll and Tap Gaming for a reported armed robbery that just occurred. The victim reported they were robbed by one man, armed with a handgun in the parking lot.
Upon initial investigation, officers learned the victim had just arrived at the business and while in the parking lot, a man approached the victim and robbed him at gunpoint. The man took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim. The man was described as a light-skinned black male, wearing a ski mask, black hoodie with a white emblem on the right sleeve, black pants, and black shoes, armed with a handgun.
The suspect fled on foot behind the business, in the direction of Rockbridge Avenue.
