Crime of the Week – December 27,2021 – UPDATE
Lynchburg, VA – The Lynchburg Police Department identified and arrested an individual in relation to a larceny.
On January 8, 2022, Barry A. Williams was arrested without incident and was taken to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail on multiple outstanding warrants. Williams was identified as a person of interest in the Lynchburg Police Department’s Crime of the Week on December 28,2021. The Crime of the Week was a larceny of a Ring Doorbell Camera from the 1400 block of Kemper Street on December 27, 2021. Williams was seen in the area of Candler’s Mountain Rd and Lynchburg Police Department’s patrol was notified. Thank you to our community for providing information that led to this arrest.
