CRIME OF THE WEEK: The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is looking for a suspect after a burglary at County Smoak.
On November 28, 2021, at 9:54 p.m., officers responded to County Smoak at 7423 Timberlake Road for a report of a burglary in progress. Security footage showed a white man wearing a hooded sweatshirt enter the business and take items before fleeing on foot. The business was also the victim of a burglary under similar circumstances on November 13, 2021.
