LPD Actively Looking for Missing and Endangered Juvenile
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is actively looking for a missing and endangered juvenile.
On October 9, 2023, at approximately 5:03 p.m., officers responded to the 3100-block of Wards Ferry Road for a report of a missing Juvenile. Jude Powers (15) was last seen around 3 p.m. in the area of Heritage High School.
Powers is considered endangered because his family says he is on the Autism Spectrum, a medical condition that affects his cognitive abilities. Powers is a white male last seen wearing grey shorts and a grey shirt and left on foot.
LPD Officers and the Liberty University Police Department are actively searching for Powers at this time.
