Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Oakley Avenue
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating after a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian yesterday.
On April 21, 2022 at 8:32 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Oakley Avenue and Richmond Street for report of a man who had been struck by a Nissan sedan. The man sustained significant injuries during the crash and was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment. He is currently in critical condition.
Although the crash remains under investigation, no charges have been filed against the driver of the car.
