Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at Roses
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at the Roses Express last night.
On December 28, 2022, at 7:20 pm., officers responded to 2323 Memorial Ave., Roses Express, for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The caller stated the store was robbed by a male subject, who displayed a knife. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Upon investigation and review of surveillance from the store, the suspect is described as follows:
Black male, 6’-6’2” tall, and weighing 250-275 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with a grey colored hoodie underneath, grey pants, black shoes, and armed with a knife.
