[UPDATE] Two Arrested in Armed Robbery
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) has arrested two teens, ages 14 and 15, in reference to the armed robbery that occurred in the 700-block of Grady Street on February 9, 2022.
As noted in the original release, responding officers located two of the involved suspects and took them into custody at that time. They are both male juveniles from Lynchburg and they have each been charged with the following:
• Robbery with a firearm
• Malicious wounding
• Hit & run with injury
• Carjacking
• Use of a firearm in commission of a felony
• Grand larceny
• Assault by mob
• Brandishing
• Possession of a firearm under the age of 18
Additional charges are pending for other suspects involved as the investigation is ongoing.
The LPD would like to thank the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for assistance provided throughout the investigation.
