Attempt to Identify – Witness
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is attempting to locate a man who may have information pertaining to a death investigation.
On April 19, 2022, at 5:45 a.m., officers responded to 1415 Kemper Street in reference to a welfare check at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found a 38-year-old man deceased inside of his apartment from apparent medical complications. During the investigation, video retrieved from a doorbell camera captured an unidentified man leaving the apartment prior to the tenant’s death.
The LPD is asking the public for assistance in identifying and locating this man who is considered to be a witness in the case.
