Crime of the Week – January 18, 2022

 

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a male suspect who stole a box of cell phones from Metro by T-Mobile located at 2605 Memorial Avenue last week.

On January 10, 2022, around 1 p.m., the business reported to Lynchburg Police that a male entered the business earlier the same day and stole a box of Samsung cell phones. The male was able to distract an employee while he grabbed the box from the counter and placed it into his duffel bag prior to leaving the store.

 

An unidentified female customer was also in the store during the time of the incident and may have been a witness to the theft.
