Shots Fired Incident – 6200-block of Old Mill Road
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Wednesday night.
On January 25, 2023, just before 9:00 p.m., several 911 callers reported hearing shots fired in the 6200-block of Old Mill Road.
LPD officers responded to the scene and located an unoccupied vehicle with the driver’s door open, a handgun near the vehicle and several cartridge casings. As the investigation continued, with cooperation of witnesses, a suspect was identified. Officers located the suspect in the area on foot and placed him in custody, without incident.
No one was reported injured as a result of the shots fired and no property was found to be damaged.
The suspect was identified as Seandre Demon Bradley, 26, of Lynchburg. Bradley was arrested on the following charges and transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where he is being held without bond:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Violent Felon
- Reckless Handling of a Firearm
- Discharge a Firearm in the City
- Public Intoxication
