Arrest Made in September 16th Robbery Incident
Lynchburg, VA- On the evening of September 19th, the Lynchburg Police Department received a tip that Nico Pollard, suspect in the September 16th robbery in the 1700 block of Park Avenue, was located at an establishment in the 50 block of 9th Street. Officers responded and arrested Pollard after a brief foot pursuit.
Pollard faces the following charges:
Possession of controlled substances, Schedule I or II
Trespass
Grand larceny
Obstructing justice
Burglary, possession of tools with the intent to commit burglary

Burglary Investigation on Park Avenue
Lynchburg, VA – On September 16, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Lynchburg Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of Park Avenue.
Preliminary investigation indicates that an adult male, later identified as 36-year-old Nico Pollard, forcibly entered the business and removed a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. A second suspect is currently being developed as part of the investigation.
Pollard is currently wanted for Grand Larceny in connection with this incident. A photo of Pollard has been provided for reference.
