LPD Investigating Breaking and Entering on Old Forest Road
Lynchburg, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is currently investigating a breaking and entering that occurred earlier today.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning, LPD officers responded to the 3600-block of Old Forest Road for a reported breaking and entering. An individual gained entry to a residence by damaging a rear door but fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival. No one was harmed during the incident.
This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no known ongoing threat to the community. The suspect is described as a middle-aged black male wearing glasses, a dark colored graphic t-shirt, and a baseball hat.
