Missing and Endangered Person
LYNCHBURG, Va. – At approximately 9:55 a.m. today, the Lynchburg Police Department received a report of a missing and endangered person.
David M. Ellis, 26, was last seen around 7:53 a.m. on September 12, 2026, in the 100 block of Willard Way.
Ellis is described as 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, dark blue shorts, and glasses. He is considered endangered due to a medical condition.
Lynchburg Police officers are actively searching for Ellis at this time. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Lynchburg Police Department non-emergency number at (434) 847-1602.
