Arrest Made in Garfield Avenue Death Investigation
Lynchburg, VA – June 26, 2024 – The Lynchburg Police Department has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the case related to the discovery of a body on Garfield Avenue back on May 26, 2024. Following weeks of a thorough investigation, numerous interviews, and vital cooperation from the public, an arrest has been made.
Daniel William Jackson, a 32-year-old resident of Campbell County, has been arrested by the Lynchburg Police Department. Jackson faces multiple charges in connection with this incident including:
Campbell County
2nd Degree Murder
Strangulation Resulting in Wounding or Bodily Injury
City of Lynchburg
Dangerous Conduct: Concealing a Dead Body.
He is currently being held at the Lynchburg Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
