BURGLARY INCIDENT AT QUIK-E STORE ON LAKESIDE DRIVE
Lynchburg, VA – On June 27, 2024 at 1:47am., Lynchburg Police Officers responded to an alarm at the Quik-E Food Store located at 1200 Lakeside Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front door had been forcibly smashed. Video footage from the store’s security cameras revealed a male suspect breaking through the door and stealing items from the premises.
Approximately 45 minutes later, the suspect was spotted near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Moorman’s Road. A brief foot pursuit ensued, leading to the apprehension of the suspect.
The individual involved in this incident has been identified as Adelrick Deshawn Mosby (42) of Lynchburg, and he has been charged with the following:
- Burglary
- Petit Larceny
- Fleeing from Law Enforcement
He is currently being held at the Lynchburg Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
