Crash Results in Individual Being Ejected from Vehicle

 

Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 12:26 AM today, the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) and Lynchburg Fire Department (LFD) responded to a report of a rollover crash in the 1400 block of Greenview Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle overturned on its roof with no occupants inside.

 

After searching the area, responders located an individual believed to have been ejected from the vehicle due to the crash. The individual, a 42-year-old male from Campbell County, was found approximately 50 feet from where the vehicle came to rest. He was determined to be the sole occupant of the vehicle.

 

The individual was transported by LFD to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
