Fatal Vehicle Accident
Lynchburg, VA – On September 1, 2026, at approximately 9:11 a.m., the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) and Lynchburg Fire Department (LFD) responded to a single vehicle accident in the 7800 block of Timberlake Road.
The driver, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
LPD is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
