Fatal Vehicle Accident
Lynchburg, VA – On September 12, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) and Lynchburg Fire Department (LFD) responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Campbell Avenue.
One driver, an adult male, was transported by LFD to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
LPD is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
