Late Night Arrests Lead to Significant Drug and Firearm Seizures
LYNCHBURG, VA— On August 11, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers from the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) were patrolling in the area of 12th Street and Main Street when they observed a fight in progress. The situation quickly escalated into a foot pursuit involving two suspects. Following a coordinated effort, both individuals were located, detained, and subsequently identified. A comprehensive investigation led to the following charges:
Denzel Christopher Early (31) Possession of a Firearm with Schedule I/II Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Obstruction of Justice.
Seandre Demon Bradley (27) Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm with Schedule I/II Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Obstruction of Justice.
Both suspects are currently being held without bond at the Lynchburg Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority.
During the arrests, officers seized evidence including:
- 2 firearms
- $3,000 in cash
- Approximately 400 suspected fentanyl pills
- 2 ounces of cocaine
