LPD Investigates Armed Robbery at Fort Avenue 7-Eleven
Lynchburg, Va. — At approximately 1:13 a.m. this morning, the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store located in the 2300 block of Fort Avenue.
According to the initial investigation, a male suspect—age unknown—wearing gloves and a mask entered the store, approached the clerk, displayed a rifle, and demanded cash. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
LPD is actively investigating this incident and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. See attached photos for a description of the suspect.
