LPD investigating shooting in the 1200 block of Main Street
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Main Street.
On May 24th, 2026, at 2:17 a.m., LPD officers responded to the 1200-Block of Main Street for reports of shots fired. While officers were responding to the scene, a call came in stating an adult male had arrived at the Lynchburg General Hospital Emergency Department with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
