LPD Responds to Shots Fired
Lynchburg, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Yorktown Avenue for shots fired.
At approximately 2:25 a.m. on June 22, 2026, the LPD Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls in reference to shots fired. LPD officers immediately responded and located an adult male with serious injuries.
The Lynchburg Fire Department transported the adult male to Lynchburg General Hospital.
