LPD Responds to Trouble Unknown on Mayflower Drive
Lynchburg, VA — At approximately 4:10 p.m. today, the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) responded to a report of a Trouble Unknown in the 3300 block of Mayflower Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male lying in the roadway suffering from wounds to the chest and abdomen. Officers immediately rendered first aid, and the victim was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with non–life-threatening injuries. It was determined that the injuries were caused by a sharp object.
An adult female has been taken into custody in connection with this incident. There is no known threat to the community at this time.
