LPD Searching for Missing and Endangered Person
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is actively searching for a missing and endangered adult.
On February 15, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m. officers received a report of a missing person. Carl Sensabaugh (85) was last seen at approximately 12:05 p.m. in the area of Acorn Hill Lodge on Old Forest Road. Sensabaugh is considered endangered due to a cognitive disability.
Sensabaugh is a white male who is approximately 5 foot 3 and 125 pounds. He was last seen driving away from Acorn Hill Lodge wearing gray pants and a navy shirt, underneath of a beige jacket. Sensabaugh was wearing a hat and gold-rimmed glasses.
The vehicle he was driving is described as a gray 2005 Chevrolet Impala, Virginia registration AEE-3071. This is a four-door vehicle and has a red, white, and blue Ruritan Club sticker on the rear portion of the driver’s side.
