Lynchburg City Schools and Lynchburg Police Department Respond to Alleged Threat
Lynchburg, VA – Earlier today, Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) staff contacted the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) regarding a reported threat at E.C. Glass High School related to a social media post.
LPD immediately launched an investigation, working closely with LCS to assess the situation. As a precautionary measure, E.C. Glass was placed on a temporary Hold limiting access.
We take all threats seriously and prioritize the safety of our community above all else. The close partnership between LCS and LPD is instrumental in addressing matters like these when they arise.
