Lynchburg Police Department Apprehends Burglary Suspects at Venue Cinemas
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is investigating a burglary that took place at the Venue Cinemas earlier yesterday morning.
On June 11, 2024, at approximately 3:50 am, Lynchburg Police Department responded to a reported police alarm at 901 Lakeside Drive, the Venue Cinemas. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a potential burglary. Security camera footage revealed the presence of two individuals within the premises, despite the building being unoccupied upon police arrival. The suspects were later identified as Christopher Alan Mason (43) and Bryan William Watkins (41), both residents of Lynchburg.
Both individuals have been taken into custody and charged with Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit Larceny.
