Lynchburg Police Department Responds to Bomb Threat at Centra Pace Facility
Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 10:20 AM today, the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) responded to a report of a bomb threat made toward the Centra Pace facility. An individual contacted the facility, threatening to bomb the business on Monday.
LPD acted swiftly, quickly identifying and locating the suspect. The individual, 69-year-old Nancy Taylor of Lynchburg, was arrested and charged with Arson, Explosives, Bombs: Offender 15 or Over.
Taylor is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
The Lynchburg Police Department continues to investigate the matter, and no further threats are believed to exist at this time.
