Lynchburg Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Dash Food Mart
Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 11:30 PM on November 18, the Lynchburg Police Department was responding to a call in the 2000 block of 12th Street when an individual approached officers and reported an armed robbery at the Dash Food Mart. Officers quickly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers reviewed security footage from inside the Dash Food Mart, which confirmed that an armed robbery had occurred. However, due to the quality of the video, investigators were unable to obtain clear details of the suspect’s appearance.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a tall male, dressed entirely in black clothing and wearing a face mask at the time of the robbery. The Lynchburg Police Department is actively investigating the incident and working to gather additional evidence to identify the individual responsible.
LPD Emergency Communications did not receive a phone call reporting this incident.
