Lynchburg Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Accident Involving Bicyclist
Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 12:32 PM today, the Lynchburg Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle versus bicyclist hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 12th Street and Taylor Street. The Lynchburg Fire Department transported the injured bicyclist to Lynchburg General Hospital. The individual is currently in serious but stable condition.
The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a black Acura SUV with Georgia license plates. The Lynchburg Police Department is actively investigating the incident and is urging anyone with information about the vehicle or the accident to come forward.
