Missing and Endangered Person
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is investigating a case involving a missing and endangered adult.
On June 10, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the 1600-block of Early Street for a report of a missing person. Margaret Fowler (85) has been missing from her home since 11:00 a.m.
Fowler is considered endangered because her family says she suffers from dementia, a medical condition that affects her cognitive abilities. Fowler is a black female last seen leaving her residence wearing a green or blue shirt and light-colored blue jeans, with black shoes, and a black wig. Fowler left on foot and does not have a cell phone with her.
LPD Officers are actively searching for Fowler at this time.
