Missing and Endangered Person
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is actively searching for a missing and endangered adult.
On December 30, 2023, officers responded to the area of 12th and Pierce Streets for a report of a missing person. Rodger Mensink (66) was last seen on Friday, December 29th at approximately 2 p.m. Mensink is considered endangered because his family says he suffers from a health condition that requires medication.
Mensink is a white male who is approximately 5 foot 9 and 185 pounds. He was last seen leaving his residence on foot wearing a black beanie, brown coat, brown flannel shirt, khaki pants, and white New Balance shoes.
LPD asks residents and businesses in the area of 12th and Pierce Streets to check any cameras they may have for footage of Mensink.
