Seeking Information on Armed Robbery at Express Lane Gas Station
Lynchburg, VA — Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred earlier today. At approximately 7:10 a.m. on August 12, 2024, a black male entered the Express Lane Gas Station located at 3001 Memorial Avenue. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the employee before fleeing the scene.
Suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 160lbs. wearing black sweatpants, black sneakers, a black Chicago Bulls ball cap, a gray and white hooded sweatshirt, and sunglasses.
