Seeking Information on Armed Robbery at Walgreens
Lynchburg, VA — Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred earlier today. At approximately 8:50 a.m. on August 31, 2024, a black male entered Walgreens located at 2004 Wards Rd. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the employee before fleeing the scene.
Suspect is described as a black male, late 20’s to late 30’s, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 130lbs. wearing black pants, black sneakers, a ball cap, a black and blue hooded sweatshirt with a reflective stripe, and wearing a black backpack.
