Shots Fired on Country Place Lane – No Injuries Reported

 

 

Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 4:49 AM this morning, the Lynchburg Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on Country Place Lane. Officers arrived promptly at the scene, where a preliminary investigation revealed that four townhomes were struck by gunfire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported; however, the residents are understandably shaken by the incident.

 

Witnesses reported observing up to four males in the vicinity, believed to be involved in the incident. The suspects fled the scene in a black vehicle. The Lynchburg Police Department is actively working to confirm the make and model of the vehicle involved.
