Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery at Bistro Brothers Restaurant and Entertainment
Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 2:30 AM this morning, the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Bistro Brothers Restaurant and Entertainment, located in the 6100 block of Fort Avenue. The suspect in this incident was reportedly a customer at the establishment just prior to returning and demanding money at gunpoint.
LPD officers quickly responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. As a result of their swift actions, the suspect was located at his residence in the 1100 block of Lindsay Street, in just a little over a four-hour window. Frederick Omare Miller, 38, of Lynchburg, was taken into custody without incident.
Miller has been charged with several offenses, including:
Firearm Possession by a Felon
Firearm Use in Commission of a Felony
Robbery Using a Firearm
The exact amount of money stolen during the robbery will remain undisclosed at this time.
