Vehicle vs. Pedestrian with Injuries
Lynchburg, Va. – At 4:23 p.m., the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) and Lynchburg Fire Department (LFD) responded to a motor vehicle accident involving one pedestrian with injuries in the 2300 block of Old Forest Road.
Upon arrival, LPD and LFD located one juvenile male, age 9, lying in the roadway with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Lynchburg Fire Department provided immediate medical aid and transported the individual to Lynchburg General Hospital.
The driver, a 41-year-old male, remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation.
This incident remains under investigation by the Lynchburg Police Department.
