Lynchburg Police Department Responds to Malicious Wounding in the 8000 Block of Timberlake Road

 

 

Lynchburg, VA – At approximately 2:50 a.m. this morning, the Lynchburg Police Department responded to a report of a malicious wounding in the 8000 block of Timberlake Road.

 

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from lacerations to his chest and face. The victim reported that an altercation occurred between him and his father, during which his father allegedly attempted to stab him.

 

The victim was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical care. The suspect, identified as the victim’s father, has not yet been located by the Lynchburg Police Department. Charges pending.
